Stock XLR leads are built to a price, not a purpose: brittle moulded ends, thin shields that let hum creep into long runs, and jackets that kink, tangle, and look like every other black cable on the stage box. They are the part of the chain everyone forgets — until a take is ruined.
We build every microphone cable by hand around Mogami Neglex 2534 star-quad — the wire running through tracking rooms the world over — terminated with genuine Neutrik XLRs and soldered with Viablue silver. A tight paracord jacket in your colour makes it the one lead you spot instantly.

XLPE insulation
Cross-linked polyethylene on every core, blue and clear pairs — stable under soldering heat, quiet in use.
Served copper shield
A dense spiral of bare copper around the quad — the studio-standard defence against hum.

Inside run four conductors of fine-stranded oxygen-free copper laid up as a star-quad: opposing pairs carry each leg of the balanced signal, so interference induced along the run cancels itself out. Mogami rates the geometry 10–20 dB quieter than an equivalent twisted pair — rejection you can hear on a long, lit stage.
Each core is insulated in cross-linked polyethylene that will not shrink back from a hot soldering iron, and a served copper shield wraps the quad. Every joint is hand-soldered with Viablue silver and strain-relieved inside a genuine Neutrik XLR shell — phantom power passes exactly as your preamp sends it.

Colour is not only style: in a busy patch bay or across a dark stage, a lead you can identify at a glance is a lead nobody unplugs by mistake. Every build is made to order in our Tallinn workshop and tested end to end before it ships.

Yes. The wiring is standard pin-for-pin XLR3, so 48 V phantom power reaches your condenser exactly as your preamp sends it.

Four conductors run as two opposing pairs, so interference picked up along the run cancels itself out — Mogami rates the geometry 10–20 dB quieter than a comparable twisted-pair cable. On a short patch you may never hear it; on a long, lit, RF-busy stage you will.
