The Audeze Maxwell is the flagship wireless gaming headphone: planar magnetic driver, lossless 2.4GHz wireless, 80-hour battery, and a tuning that leans on the low end while keeping more detail in the mids than most gaming headphones manage. The stock pads are serviceable. Dekoni offers two upgrades that each take the Maxwell in a different direction.
Available materials
Elite Velour: High-grade velour, memory foam fill. The Maxwell's planar driver is already capable of considerable detail; velour preserves that by keeping the acoustic face open. Better pressure distribution over long gaming sessions is the practical headline. If you want the Maxwell to sound like itself with improved comfort, this is the pick.
Elite Sheepskin: Real sheepskin, solid seal. Amplifies the low-end authority that makes the Maxwell good for gaming, while adding premium leather construction. Runs warmer than velour. Worth it if you find the stock sound slightly lean and want more bass impact.
