Stock guitar leads are built to a price, not a purpose: a moulded plug crimped onto thin wire, a jacket that kinks and tangles across the stage, a conductor that adds hiss and dulls your top end. It passes soundcheck. It gets through the first set. Then, mid-solo, it doesn't.
We build every instrument cable by hand around wire we'd gig ourselves — a double-shielded Sommer SC-The Spirit XXL core — soldered with Viablue silver to genuine Neutrik jacks. A tight paracord jacket in your colour armours the run, so what leaves your pickups is what reaches your amp. Gig after gig.

Stranded OFC core
One 0.75 mm² conductor in 42 fine strands of oxygen-free copper — powerful, clear, and built to be flexed.
Low-capacitance dielectric
Foam-skin polyethylene at 86 pF/m — passive pickups keep their sparkle at full stage length.
Double shielding
A 100% conductive screen plus a 95% tinned-copper braid lock hum and interference out.
Paracord jacket
Hand-woven over the whole run in your pick of 13 colours — armour that stays flexible.
At the core runs a single conductor of fine-stranded oxygen-free copper — 0.75 mm² across 42 strands, so the cable stays supple however you coil it. Its foam-skin polyethylene dielectric keeps capacitance to 86 pF per metre, and with passive pickups that is the number that decides whether your top end arrives intact.
Around it sit two shields: a full-coverage conductive screen under a tinned-copper braid, keeping hum and radio noise out of your signal. Every joint is hand-soldered with Viablue silver solder and strain-relieved inside a genuine Neutrik shell — then the whole run is dressed in hand-woven paracord.
The cable should be the one thing on stage you never think about.

No — they look alike but are built differently. An instrument cable is shielded for low-level signals; a speaker cable carries amplifier power and needs heavy unshielded conductors. Running amp power through an instrument cable can damage the cable and your amp. If you need speaker leads, contact us.

Every cable is built to order — the “Ships in …” note on this page always shows the current production time, and you get tracking the moment it leaves the bench.

3 m covers most rehearsal rooms; 5–7 m gives you room to move on stage. We cap instrument runs at 7 m — beyond that, passive pickups audibly lose top end. Need to go further? That is what balanced XLR is for — see our microphone cables.
