Beyerdynamic Foam Disc (Replacement 1000953)

The foam disc is the part of your headphone you have never thought about. It lives between the ear pad and the driver, quietly intercepting everything else that would rather not be there: hair, dust, skin oil, the occasional eyelash. Years pass. The foam stops being foam and becomes a small archaeological record of your listening habits.

This is the official replacement from Beyerdynamic. Two layers, grey on the inside and black on the outside, with a revised texture that does a better job of stopping hair from working its way through to the diaphragm. We make no claim that it changes the sound. We do claim the inside of your headphones will look considerably less alarming.
