Dan Clark Audio's Aeon 2 is a folding planar magnetic headphone aimed at the portable and desktop audiophile market: compact enough to travel with, technically serious enough to use at home. The Aeon Flow series preceded it on the same platform. Both use a semi-open design with a specific oval cup geometry that Dekoni has fitted specifically.
Dekoni's Elite Sheepskin v2 for the Aeon 2 uses real sheepskin leather over memory foam. The v2 designation reflects a refined fit compared to the original Aeon Sheepskin: the geometry is adjusted for the Aeon 2's cup without introducing the pressure issues that affected earlier versions. The sheepskin construction adds warmth and body to the Aeon 2's relatively neutral planar presentation, while the memory foam fill improves pressure distribution over the stock pad.
