EXCLUDED MODELS (We do NOT mod these):

• Wooden / Hybrid Series: RS1, RS2, GS1000, GS2000, PS500, GH Series, Hemp, or any Limited Editions.
• Why? The heat required to open the cups risks damaging the vintage wood. We stick to the robust Plastic and Aluminum models only.

Liberate Your Grados.

Grado headphones are famous for their open, airy sound—and infamous for their cable. The stock "Garden Hose" cable is thick, heavy, and prone to permanent twisting. It drags down the lightweight headphones and ruins the comfort.

We fix this by installing Dual 3.5mm Sockets directly into the cups.

• Need a Cable? Since this mod uses standard Dual 3.5mm connections, you can use our Aranea or Medusa cables.
• Recommended: Choose a lightweight Aranea cable to match the lightweight Grado chassis.

Hygiene & Condition Policy (Read Before Ordering)

For the safety of our technicians, we enforce a strict Zero Tolerance Policy regarding hygiene.

• The "Crumble" Risk: If your Grados are old, the foam pads are likely disintegrating. Please remove old foam pads before shipping. We cannot work on units that are shedding black dust everywhere.
• The Policy: We cannot accept headphones with mold, insect infestation, or fluid damage. Unsanitary units will be returned at your expense.

How It Works

• Place Your Order: Purchase the service above.
• Prep & Ship: Remove old foam pads, pack securely, and ship to us.
• The Surgery: We heat-treat the glue, open the cups, remove the "Garden Hose," install the new sockets, and reseal the cups.

We Ship Back: You receive your liberated Grados, ready for a new lightweight cable.
